JAKARTA JOGJA BROMO SURABAYA TOUR 8 DAYS
DAY 1: JAKARTA AIRPORT - HOTEL
The Jakarta Jogja Bromo Surabaya tour for 8 days starts with a pick-up service by our tour guide and driver at Jakarta international airport. Then drive to the hotel for check-in and rest.
DAY 2: INDONESIA MINATURE - BATAVIA HARBOR - BANDUNG (B, L)
Breakfast and check out the hotel, then visit Indonesia Miniature Museum. This museum will show culture and lifestyle with plenty of mini replicas of Indonesian houses, heritage monuments, etc. Then visit the old harbor of Batavia, known as the main harbor in Dutch Colonial times. Drive to Bandung Hotel, check-in, and rest. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
DAY 3: TANGKUBAN PERAHU - TEA PLANTATION - GARUT (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel, and visit Mount Tangkuban Perahu, the most active volcano in West Java which offers beautiful scenery surround. Continues to the tea plantation area, walks around the tea plantation, and learns about it. Back to the hotel and rested. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
DAY 4: PAPANDAYAN - CURUG TEKO WATERFALL (B, L)
Breakfast and check out the hotel, visit Mount Papandayan, which lies in Garut. Explore little soft trekking and enjoy the view and fresh air. Then visit a waterfall nearby which offers fresh water from the mountain. Drive to Garut Hotel, check-in, and rest. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
DAY 5: GARUT - WONOSOBO JOURNEY (B, L)
Breakfast and check out of the hotel. Make a land journey from Garut to Wonosobo with plenty of mountains, forests, and farming fields along the way. Check-in hotel in Wonosobo and rest. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
DAY 6: SIKUNIR SUNRISE - DIENG - BOROBUDUR - YOGYAKARTA (B, L)
Wake up at 03.00 in the morning, then drive to Sembungan village for the Sikunir sunrise tour. Enjoy the beauty of golden sunrise from the top of the plateau, with mountains surrounded. Continued to Color Lake by visiting the viewpoint to enjoy the lakes. Then visit Sikidang Crater, an active crater with bubbling mud. Continues to Arjuna temple, the oldest Hindu temple, which was built in the 7th AD. Back to hotel, shower, breakfast, and check out hotel. Continues to Borobudur, known as the biggest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia and was built in the 8th AD. Drive to Yogyakarta hotel, check-in, and rest. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
DAY 7: PRAMBANAN - SULTAN PALACE - WATER CASTLE (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel, and visit the Prambanan temple, the biggest Hindu temple in Indonesia and built in the 9th century. Then visit Sultan Palace Yogyakarta, the center of Javanese culture in Indonesia. Continues to Water Castle, which used to be the private castle of the Sultan and family in the past time. Then visit Batik and silver craft at Kotagede for local souvenirs. Back to the hotel and rested. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
DAY 8: YOGYAKARTA - TROWULAN - TOSARI (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to Trowulan village of Mojokerto for visiting the Vihara of Buddha Sleeping. Continue to Tosari village by land and accompanied by plenty of farming paddy fields, mountains, local houses, and local people activities. Reach Tosari Hotel, check-in, and rest. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
DAY 9: MOUNT BROMO SUNRISE - SURABAYA AIRPORT (B, L)
Wake up at 03.00 in the morning time, get a jeep transport for driving to Mount Pananjakan. Get up there and enjoy the beauty of sunrise and Mount Bromo. Drive down and pass the sand sea to reach the caldera and crater of Mount Bromo, which is surrounded by beautiful scenery. Back to the hotel, get breakfast, shower, and check out of the hotel. Drive to Surabaya airport to fly for the next journey. Java overland tour finishes.
